(v.) Empowering kids to care.

Our Programs

By implementing entrepreneurial service learning and skills-driven initiatives, we aim for young people to develop early habits that positively contribute to their communities so they can succeed into adulthood. Our programs, experiences, and community initiatives help people build connection, confidence, belonging, and real-world impact through action, expression, mentorship, and culture.

Our Mission

Empowering kids to care about themselves, others and the world around them through character education and entrepreneurial service learning.

We tackle the human-side of violence to help kids and their peers become positive influences on their community. As confident, awesome advocates, Inlight kids are equipped with the courage, mental resilience, and emotional capacity to face adversities and disrupt the path to violence that leads to school shootings, bullying, and self-harm.

Why now?

An epidemic

Children aged 4-13 encounter distinct generational challenges concerning (1) AI and digital media, (2) concerns about campus culture and safety, (3) skills needed for the future, and (4) finding a sense of purpose. Consequently, young people today experience unparalleled emotions of loneliness, anxiety, and depression.

BY THE NUMBERS

Current learning methods struggle to address modern problems. Youth anxiety creates broader problems that impact peers, families, and communities as a whole. Without intervention strategies, vulnerable youth become a part of rising statistics and epidemics.

Community Events

Community Events

Inlight hosts events to bring together community leaders, other nonprofits, and businesses to make a positive impact. The goal is to create healthier environments, create opportunities, open doors to volunteerism, and make memorable impressions.
