Stuff the Backpack Drive
Did you know? The average family spends $875 a year per student on basic school supplies, clothing, and shoes. 25% of students or almost 15,000 million kids don’t have the supplies they need to support their learning.
Every child deserves a chance to learn and grow, but not everyone has the tools they need for school. By sharing supplies, we can help make sure every kid feels ready to learn and succeed.
It's easy to STUFF THE BACKPACK!
1. Download our FLYER and fill out or have a parent help to fill it out.
2. Decide a date you will collect school supplies and then write that on the blank line in the printable - we recommend a week out from when you drop off your flyer. Make it personal by signing your name.
3. Deliver a signed flyer to the homes you trust in your neighborhood.
4. With an adult, kids safely collect the supplies left out next to the donors' mailboxes.
5. Drop off supplies to a local shelter or resource center of your child's choice.
6. Comment below and let us know how many backpacks you stuffed and what you learned from this challenge.
