Peanut Butter Challenge
Students will engage in the Peanut Butter Challenge, where they will collect jars of peanut butter (or similar nut butters) and donate them to a local food bank or community organization.
This project is designed to foster empathy, as students learn to understand and respond to the needs of others in their community. Through this challenge, students will practice compassion by recognizing the hardships that others face and taking action to help alleviate those struggles.
It's easy to help SPREAD SOME LOVE!
1. Download our FLYER and fill out or have a parent help to fill it out.
2. Decide a date you will collect the donated jars and then write that on the blank line in the printable - we recommend a week out from when you drop off your flyer. Make it personal by signing your name.
3. Deliver a signed flyer to the homes you trust in your neighborhood.
4. With an adult, kids safely collect the jars left out next to the donors' mailboxes.
5. Drop off collected jars to a local food bank, food pantry, or resource center of your child's choice.
6. Comment below and let us know how many jars you collected and what you learned from this challenge.
